René Dausner

René Dausner (* 1975 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

He studied Catholic theology and German language and literature in Jerusalem and Bonn , where he also received his doctorate in 2006. theol. received his doctorate . After completing his legal clerkship in Baden-Württemberg, he taught there from 2008 to 2011 as a high school teacher. Since February 2011 he has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Fundamental Theology at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt , where he completed his habilitation in 2015 . Since then he has worked there as a private lecturer and as an academic adviser at the chair for fundamental theology. In the 2017 summer semester, he was a substitute professor for systematic theology at the TU Dresden . Since 2016 he has been a member of the discussion group Jews and Christians of the Central Committee of German Catholics . On October 1, 2018, Dausner was appointed Professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Hildesheim .

His main research interests are fundamental theological questions, interdisciplinary discourse with philosophy and questions of Judeo-Christian dialogue .
