René Raúl Hernández (born December 8, 1987 ) is a Cuban water diver who competes in artificial jumping from the 1-meter and 3-meter board and in 3-meter synchronized jumping.

Hernández played his first international championships in 2011. At the Pan American Games in Guadalajara he reached the final from the 3-meter board, where he was eleventh. In the 3-m synchronized jumping he won the bronze medal with Jorge Pupo and thus his first international medal. Hernández also took part in the World Championships in Shanghai , but clearly missed the semi-finals from the 3-meter board.
