Jorge Luis Pupo Carballo (born February 14, 1982 in Pinar del Río ) is a Cuban water diver who competes in artificial jumping from the 1-meter and 3-meter board and in 3-meter synchronized jumping.

Pupo started diving at the age of seven. In 1999 he was accepted into the national team, and since 2002 he has been contesting continental competitions and competitions of the FINA Diving Grand Prix. Pupo started at the Pan American Games 2007 in Rio de Janeiro and achieved tenth place as the best result on the 3-meter board. The following year he took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing for the first time , but only finished 27th in the preliminary fight from the 3-meter board. Another year later he played his first world championship in Rome and was able to reach the semi-finals from the 3-meter board, where he was 13th. He won his first national title in 2010.

Pupo also took part in the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai , but retired in the individual and with Deiné Castellanos in the synchronized competition from the 3-meter board after the preliminary fight . In Guadalajara , Pupo achieved his greatest sporting success to date at the Pan American Games . In the 3 m synchronized jumping he won the bronze medal with René Hernández .
