René Jalaß (born January 25, 1983 in Leipzig ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and a member of the state parliament of Saxony between 2017 and 2019 .

biography

René Jalaß completed a degree in social worker / social pedagogy with a bachelor's degree. From 2009 to 2015 he worked as an employee of various state and Bundestag members of the Left Party. From 2015 to 2016 he was initially a consultant and then head of the ministerial office of the Thuringian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.

René Jalaß has been a member of Die Linke since 2008. On March 16, 2017, he replaced the resigned Sebastian Scheel in the state parliament.

On June 24, 2019, Jalaß started the initiative "Sachsen #umkrempeln" for a red-red-green alliance for the state election of Saxony together with members of the parties Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Sachsen and SPD Sachsen .
