Attractions
- Parish church in Higuères, dedicated to the Assumption . The date of construction of the church is unknown, however certain structural elements suggest that the construction of the original structure dates from the 13th century. The church, which was damaged in the Huguenot Wars , was rebuilt and restored in the 19th century, as confirmed by the year "1821" on the lintel above the entrance. Inside is the tombstone of Marie d'Abadie, dated 1768, whose family owned numerous manors in the Béarn des Ancien Régimes . It is made of white marble with a coat of arms and shows an engraved funeral motto. From the 13th century that comes Stoup gray marble, which from the convent of the Franciscan from Morlaàs comes.
- Church in Souye, dedicated to the Nativity of Mary . Before the French Revolution , there was no church in the former parish of Souye. The faithful had to go to church in Higuères on Sundays, which was sometimes difficult, especially in winter. A chapel was finally built towards the end of the 18th century , which was redesigned from 1900 to 1902 according to plans by the architects Gabarret and Noutary. The single nave nave is closed with a semicircular apse and has a stepped bell gable .
- Haudebat Castle. It was probably built towards the end of the 18th century by order of the Guiroye family, lords of Higuères since 1762, on the site of the former lords' residence, mentioned in 1679 by Pierre de Belzunce and marked on the map by Cassini. The high roof structure of the barn that still exists today shows the age of the first building.
