Lestelle-Bétharram is a French municipality with 831 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau and the canton of Vallées de l'Ousse et du Lagoin (until 2015: canton of Nay-Est ).

The municipality is located on the Gave de Pau River southeast of Nay and 13 kilometers west of Lourdes . Lstelle-Bétharram is on the Toulouse-Bayonne railway line and is served by the TER Aquitaine and TER Midi-Pyrénées regional lines. Neighboring communities are:
- Igon in the north
- Montaut in the east
- Asson to the west
- Saint-Pé-de-Bigorre in the southeast.

Attractions
The Bétharram Caves are a well-known attraction in the region. It was discovered in 1810 and is one of the first publicly accessible cave systems. It is about 2.5 kilometers long and can be accessed in places with a small railway. The cave system lies on the border with the Hautes-Pyrénées department . The entrance to the cave can be reached via Saint-Pé-de-Bigorre .
Lstelle-Bétharram is on the Camino de Santiago from Carcassonne , via Lourdes , to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port . The pilgrimage and monastery church of Notre-Dame de Bétharram from the 17th century is located in the municipality . The monastery complex is still inhabited by religious.
