Baudreix ( Occitan : Baudreish ) is a French municipality with 611 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau and the canton of Vallées de l'Ousse et du Lagoin (until 2015: canton of Nay-Est ). The inhabitants are called Baudreichois .

geography

Baudreix is ​​located about 13 kilometers south-southeast of Pau on the Gave de Pau river , which flows along the western edge of the municipality. Baudreix is ​​surrounded by the neighboring communities of Boeil-Bezing in the north, Beuste in the northeast, Lagos in the east, Mirepeix in the south and Bourdettes and Arros-de-Nay in the west and southwest.
