Lagos is a French municipality with 468 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau and the canton of Vallées de l'Ousse et du Lagoin (until 2015: canton of Nay-Est ). The inhabitants are called Lagosia .

geography

Lagos is about 14 kilometers southeast of Pau on the Lagoin River . Lagos is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beuste in the north, Lucgarier in the east and northeast, Bordères in the south and Mirepeix in the west and southwest.
