Castet is a French municipality with 4261 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Serres-Castet belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau and the canton of Terres des Luys et Coteaux du Vic-Bilh (until 2015: canton of Morlaàs ). The inhabitants are called Serrois .

Serres-Castet is located in the historic province of Béarn on the Luy de Béarn River . Serres-Castet is surrounded by the neighboring communities Sauvagnon in the north and west, Navailles-Angos in the north and northeast, Montardon in the east and south, and Lons and Lescar in the southwest.
The former route nationale 134 (today: D834) runs through the municipality .
