Buros is a French commune with 1,883 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau and the canton of Pays de Morlaàs et du Montanérès (until 2015: Canton Morlaàs ).
geography
Buros is located in the historic province of Béarn on Luy de Béarn and is a banlieue of Pau . The Laaps river limits the municipality to the north. Buros is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Castin in the north, Maucor in the north and northeast, Morlaàs in the east and southeast, Pau in the south and southwest and Montardon in the west and northwest.
