Igon ( Occitan : Aigon ) is a French municipality with 968 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau and the canton of Vallées de l'Ousse et du Lagoin (until 2015: canton of Nay-Est ).

Igon is located about 18 kilometers south-southeast of Pau on the Gave de Pau river , which borders the municipality in the east. Igon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nay in the north and north-west, Coarraze in the north and east, Montaut in the south-east, Lestelle-Bétharram in the south and Asson in the west and south-west.
