Beuste is a French municipality with 637 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau and the canton of Vallées de l'Ousse et du Lagoin (until 2015: canton of Nay-Est ). The inhabitants are called Beustois .
geography
Beuste is located about 14 kilometers southeast of Pau on the Lagoin River . Beuste is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Boeil-Bezing in the north and west, Gomer in the northeast, Lucgarier in the east and northeast, Lagos in the south and Baudreix in the southwest.
