geography

The municipality is located south of Nay in the valley of the Ouzom , a tributary of the Gave de Pau . Neighboring communities of Nay are Asson , from which it is largely enclosed, and Bruges-Capbis-Mifaget . The village is considered to be the beginning of the north ramp on the Col du Soulor , which is often used by the Tour de France .
