Klaus Hülsenbeck

Klaus Hülsenbeck (born August 2, 1958 ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and football referee . He is mayor of Sauerland Mittelstadt Marsberg .

Life

Klaus Hülsenbeck attended the elementary school in Messinghausen (now part of Brilon ), the Petrinum Brilon grammar school and then the higher commercial school in Brilon. He studied at a university of applied sciences and an administration academy and has degrees in administration and management.

He headed the main and personnel office in Brilon and was city treasurer in Marsberg's neighboring town .

Klaus Hülsenbeck is married and has one son.

He is a football referee for Fortuna Messinghausen. He was used as a referee in the Oberliga Westfalen and the Regionalliga West / Südwest . In the DFB Cup 1991/92 he whistled the first round match between SC Neukirchen and Halleschen FC . He was linesman in games in the German Bundesliga , and for the German Football Association he is a referee observer and coach for the regional league and the junior Bundesliga.

Mayor's office

In 2009 he was the CDU's candidate for mayor for Brilon, but lost the election on August 30, 2009 against the SPD office holder Franz Schrewe . After the mayor of Marsberg Hubertus Klenner did not run for the mayoral election in 2014 for health reasons, Klaus Hülsenbeck was put up as a candidate by the CDU in December 2013. Hülsenbeck won the election on May 25, 2014 with 52.47 percent of the valid votes. He will no longer run for the 2020 local elections.
