The Communauté de communes Pays de Nay is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the departments of Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées in the regions of Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitania . It was founded on January 1, 2000 and comprises 29 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Bénéjacq . The specialty lies in the cross-departmental and regional structure of the municipalities.

Historical development

The community association was renamed in 2011 from its original name Communauté de communes de la Vath Vielha . In 2014, the municipalities of Arbéost and Ferrières from the neighboring Hautes-Pyrénées department were integrated.

With effect from January 1, 2017, the municipalities of Assat and Narcastet from the dissolved Communauté de communes Gave et Coteaux joined the local community association.

With effect from January 1, 2018, the municipality of Labatmale left the Communauté de communes du Nord Est Béarn and joined the local association.
