The Communauté de communes du Haut Béarn is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on July 22, 2016 and comprises 48 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Oloron-Sainte-Marie .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

The association originally founded under the name Communauté de communes du Pays d'Oloron et des Vallées du Haut Béarn was renamed to its current name with effect from January 1, 2018.
