  • Parish Church of Géronce, dedicated to Lawrence of Rome . It has a five-story bell tower that is visible from afar . The year 1721 on a plaque above the entrance indicates the dating of the new building. The existence of a previous church proves u. a. the holy water font inside the church. There are three altarpieces in this church, in the choir and in the two side chapels . The reredos in the choir consists of two Corinthian columns that frame a painting depicting the patron saint of the church, Saint Lawrence, in a scene in which he is tortured on a grate and receiving the martyr's crown from an angel . It is a work by the painter Bernard I Montaut from 1821, which was probably carried out during a restoration. A dove , symbol of the Holy Spirit , can be seen above the painting . On the door of the tabernacle is Jesus Christ represented the moment of mockery. Serpentine columns on either side of the door define four niches. Two of these niches are occupied with representations of the Annunciation , the other two are damaged. The front of the altar shows a representation of the four evangelists . The small, gray-blue and gold-colored altarpiece in the chapel in honor of Mary dates from the end of the 18th or the beginning of the 19th century. The niche in the middle, framed by two columns with foliage ornaments, is filled with a multi-colored wooden statue from the 17th century depicting the Pietà . Mary's upper body is upright, she carries the body of the dead Christ on her knees. To the left and right of the columns there are statues of Dominic of Silos and of Anthony of Padua . The reredos in the chapel in honor of Joseph of Nazareth is structured by two serpentine columns, which are covered with vine tendrils and end in Corinthian capitals . The painting in the center, which illustrates the Eucharistic Adoration , is the work of the painter Bernard I Montaut and comes from the former Saint-Pierre church in Dous. Volutes with acanthus ornaments and an eagle with spread wings flank the overall composition. A blessing God the Father appears on the round front gable above the painting , below the head of a cherub appears .
  • Town hall and school. The construction in 1884 was financed by the estate of Pierre Lasserre, a philanthropist from Géronce . The spacious building joins the construction of a number of school buildings during the Third French Republic .
  • House Bégarie, built in the Dous district at the end of the 16th century. The house is named after the landlords de Bégarie, first bailiffs of the Josbaig valley from the 14th to the 16th century. Today the restored house welcomes holidaymakers as a Gîte de France .
  • House of the Portau. It is in the 16th century as a festival house was built as part of the defense system of the municipality in which the now twin windows and the loopholes are bricked up. Traces of a military man on the facade indicate a door that was once fortified. In the 18th century, Haus deu Portau served as a prison and as a sign of the presence of the judiciary.
  • Castera of Géronce. To the west and not far from the center of Géronce a hill rises approx. 50 m above the river plain of the Joos. This appeared to be the ideal location for a fortified structure at the end of the 10th century. In addition to the slope, it was secured on three sides by an earth wall and was large enough to accommodate residents in case of danger.
