The lay monastery had been dependent on the abbey of Lucq-de-Béarn for a long time before becoming a vassal of the Viscount of Béarn.

Attractions
- Parish Church of Ledeuix, dedicated to Martin of Tours . The Romanesque church was first mentioned in the scriptures in 1308. The single-nave nave is three bays in length and its walls are made of Bidache limestone . Its entrance portal made of pink sandstone dates from the Romanesque era and is decorated with three archivolts . On the tympanum of the portal there is a circular, very damaged monogram of Christ from the 13th century, the largest in the Béarn. The bell tower dates from the Gothic period . The braided rib vault of the third yoke inside the church differs from the rest of the vault and shows that this part was added at a later time. The projections are embellished with pictorial motifs, such as B. sirens , angels , lions or birds. The capitals of the choir show images, which probably date from the 15th century, with motifs of the Annunciation , the birth of Christ and the unbelieving Thomas . Despite its Romanesque origin and Gothic alterations, the stained glass windows of the church date from 1930. The altarpiece and the tabernacle in the choir date from the 17th century. In the center of the gilded altarpiece is a painting depicting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ . It is surrounded by serpent columns and volutes decorated with flower garlands . The upper part consists of a cornice , which is decorated with a tooth cut motif and shows a representation of God the Father . A dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit can be recognized by the apse calotte . The door of the tabernacle is decorated with the motif of Jesus Christ at the moment of mockery, with Saints Peter and Paul on the sides. Its outer fields depict the Annunciation of the Lord, the upper part is framed with two wings on which angels in tunics can be seen.
- Verlée Castle. It is located south of the parish church and is originally the lay monastery, first mentioned in the 14th century and owned by the Esgoarrabaque family. It only came into the hands of the lords of Luxe in the 18th century, the Verlée family, from whom the castle was named. A member of the family, Catherine Grand , née Verlée, married Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord on September 9, 1802. The castle was laid out in the shape of a square with an inner courtyard that made it possible to separate the agricultural outbuildings from the residential wing. Gable dormers covered with slate illuminate the attic. The main facade has a gate and an entrance with pilasters . It is framed by two corner towers, one covered with a pointed roof, the other with a hood . A staircase leads inside to the living rooms, some of which have received their paneling and stucco with seasonal motifs from the 18th century.
