The Gave d'Oloron is a river in south-western France , in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It is created by the confluence of the Gave d'Ossau and the Gave d'Aspe in the town of Oloron-Sainte-Marie . It drains to the northwest, flows through the historical province of Béarn and meets the Gave de Pau after about 100 kilometers above Peyrehorade , after which they will cover the last kilometers under the new name Gaves Réunis to the confluence with the Adour . On his way he crosses the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Landes departments .
