Gave
Under Gave means the generic name for a watercourse in the French Pyrenees , particularly in the old province of Béarn and Bigorre , now in the departments of Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrenees lie. They all belong to the Adour river system .
The ancient name Gave has its roots in pre- Celtic times and is reflected in the Occitan or Gascognic language.
