The Gave de Larrau is a river in France that runs in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region .
course
It rises near the border with Spain , in the municipality of Larrau , at the Chalets d'Iraty ski station . The source stream is called Izeiko Erreka . The Gave de Larrau first drains to the east and southeast, turns to the northeast at Larrau and after around 18 kilometers in the municipality of Licq-Athérey reaches the Gave de Sainte-Engrâce river , with which it forms the Saison river .
