The Mole

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Mole ( English for The Mole ) is a reality game show - television format that was first broadcast in Belgium in 1998 with the title De Mol . So far, the show has been licensed to television stations in more than 50 countries.

concept

The participants of the show have to try in various physical and mental tasks to earn as much money as possible for the jackpot. This will be paid out to the winner in the final. One of them, however, is "The Mole" ("The Mole") and tries to sabotage the tasks. He is selected and supported by the producers before production. The mole must be careful not to be recognized by the other participants. Because the other participants have to find out who the mole is. At the end of each episode, participants must answer questions related to the mole. The more you know about him, the greater the chance of getting into the final and winning the jackpot. Therefore, at the end of each episode, the participant who does the worst in the test is eliminated.

There are also versions with celebrities and children.

International versions

In the meantime, more than 15 different "The Mole" versions with a total of more than 60 seasons have been broadcast worldwide. Three national versions are currently being produced and broadcast, with celebrities serving as participants in two versions.
