Attractions

  • Parish church, dedicated to the Assumption . A first new building took place at the end of the 18th or the beginning of the 19th century. After the failure of a rebuilding project in 1874, the project by architects Pierre Gabarret and Jules Noutary was approved in 1902. It envisaged a new building in the same location as the previous church with a main south facade using the materials of the old building. The work was carried out between 1904 and 1906. The new church has a three-aisled nave with four bays . The side aisles are separated by arched arcades . The bell tower above the entrance has a slate- covered helmet . The stained glass windows with figures are attributed to the glass painters Louis-Victor Gesta from Toulouse or Gustave Pierre Dagrant from Bordeaux .
