Asson is a French commune with 2,031 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the arrondissement of Pau and the canton of Ouzom, Gave et Rives du Neez (until 2015: canton of Nay-Ouest ).
