Morlaàs is a French municipality with 4282 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). It is the capital of the canton of Pays de Morlaàs et du Montanérès (until 2015: capital of the canton of Morlaàs ). Nearby places include a. Pau , Mont-de-Marsan , Toulouse and Biarritz . The place is on the river Luy de France . It is also not far from here to the Pyrenees . In the center of the village is the Sainte-Foy church, which dates from the 12th century.

Since 1989 the community has maintained partnerships with Tostedt near Hamburg, Manteigas in Portugal and Uncastillo in Spain.
