The Luy de France is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises southeast of Pau , in the municipality of Limendous , generally drains in a north-westerly direction and meets the Luy de Béarn after about 85 kilometers in the municipality of Castel-Sarrazin . Together they form the Luy River here . On its way, the Luy de France crosses the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Landes departments .
