Montardon is a French commune with a population of 2,300 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau and the canton of Terres des Luys et Coteaux du Vic-Bilh (until 2015: Morlaàs ). The inhabitants are called Montardonnais .

Montardon is located in the historic province of Béarn on the Luy de Béarn River . Montardon is surrounded by the neighboring communities Serres-Castet in the north and west, Navailles-Angos in the north, Saint-Castin in the east, Buros in the southeast, Pau in the south and Lons in the southwest.
