Livron ( Occitan : Liuron ) is a French municipality with 405 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau and is part of the canton of Vallées de l'Ousse et du Lagoin (until 2015: canton of Pontacq ).

geography

Livron is about 20 kilometers east-southeast of Pau at the foot of the Pyrenees . The Ousse flows through the municipality . Livron is surrounded by the neighboring communities Espoey in the north and northwest, Luquet in the north and northeast, Pontacq in the east and southeast, Barzun in the south and Hours in the west.
