Beyrie-en-Béarn ( Occitan : Veiria ) is a French commune of the department Pyrénées-Atlantiques with 193 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Artix et Pays de Soubestre (until 2015: canton of Lescar ) and the Arrondissement of Pau . The inhabitants are called Beyriens .

geography

Beyrie-en-Béarn is about eleven kilometers northwest of Pau . Beyrie-en-Béarn is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bougarber in the north and east, Poey-de-Lescar in the south, Aussevielle in the southwest and Denguin in the west.
