The Harris Peak is a 1,750 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Asgard Range of the Transantarctic Mountains, it rises between Mount Hall and Ball Peak at a distance of 2.2 km south of Mount Weyant .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named him in 1998 after the New Zealand mountaineer Andy Harris (1964-1996), who worked from 1987 to 1992 for the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program including two campaigns in Marie Byrd Land and on May 10, 1996 was killed in the accident on Mount Everest .
