Mount Weyant is a striking, ice-free and 1930 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises between the Loftus Glacier and the Newall Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after the American meteorologist William S. Weyant of the United States Weather Bureau , who was part of the winter occupation of Little America V station during Operation Deep Freeze in 1958 .
