The Newall Glacier is a glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located in the eastern part of the Asgard Range and flows in an easterly direction between Mount Newall and Mount Weyant to the Wilson Piedmont Glacier .
The New Zealand Northern Group of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) mapped it and named it based on the name of Mount Newall after the British astrophysicist Hugh Frank Newall (1857-1944) from the University of Cambridge , who was involved in the procurement of financial Funds for the provision of the ship Morning to the rescue of the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) was helpful.
