The Loftus Glacier is a valley glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows between Mount Weyant and Mount McLennan in the Asgard Range to the Newall Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1964 after the American journalist Leo G. Loftus (1923-2008), who worked at the McMurdo station between 1959 and 1964 .
