Aussevielle ( Occitan : Aussavièla ) is a French commune of the department Pyrénées-Atlantiques with 1,205 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). It is assigned to the canton of Artix et Pays de Soubestre (until 2015: canton of Lescar ) and the arrondissement of Pau . The inhabitants are called Ausseviellois .

geography

Aussevielle is about eleven kilometers west-northwest of Pau . The river Ousse des Bois crosses the municipality. Aussevielle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Denguin in the north and west, Beyrie-en-Béarn in the northeast, Poey-de-Lescar in the east and Siros in the south.

The Autoroute A64 and the former Route nationale 117 run through the municipality .
