history
Casteide-Cami was founded in 1236 on a hill between the valleys of the Aubin and Géüle rivers as a so-called castelnau . Attractions
- Local church dedicated to the Apostle Andrew . In 1861, planning began to restore the simple church. These also included the construction of a bell tower as an entrance porch in accordance with the style of the time. The work lasted from 1864 to December 1866, until the almost completed tower collapsed and part of the nave was destroyed. Construction work resumed from 1867 to 1869 and the church was consecrated in 1872. The two stained glass windows in the apse are probably works by Mauméjean stained glass from Pau.
- Castle, called Castéide de Moussu , built in the 16th century. The son of Madeleine de Lafargue, maitresse of the French King Henry IV , bought the manor of Casteide-Cami and had the castle built.
