Jules-Pierre Mauméjean's four sons all became glass painters. Joseph, Henri and Charles joined their father’s company, which was renamed Mauméjean frères . Léon, the fourth son, went into business for himself in Paris and died there in 1921.
Joseph and Henri founded a stained glass factory in Hendaye with branches in Madrid , Barcelona and San Sebastian . They called their company Mauméjean Hermanos . Finally, the three owners of the Mauméjean frères company founded a subsidiary in Paris (6, rue Bezout in the 14th arrondissement ) in 1921 , which produced stained glass windows and mosaics . At the Exposition Internationale des Arts décoratifs in 1925, the group of companies exhibited its works in its own pavilion and received a Grand Prix .
