Loubieng ( Occitan : Lobienh ) is a French municipality with 516 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (2016: Aquitaine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pau , to the canton of Le Cœur de Béarn (until 2015: canton of Lagor ) and to the community association Lacq-Orthez .
geography
Loubieng is located about 35 kilometers west-northwest of Pau in the historic province of Béarn . Loubieng is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Laà-Mondrans in the north, Castetner in the northeast, Maslacq in the east, Sauvelade in the southeast, Audaux in the south, Castetbon in the southwest and Ozenx-Montestrucq in the west.
