The Les Clöchards is a comedic show band from Germany.

The Les Clöchards was founded in 2005 and consists of five musicians: Dregue Sbæg (vocals), Adel Millah ( reeds , melodica , Philicorda , Stylophone , Hulusi , saxophone , vocals), Ilnatterino Stallione ( guitar , vocals), Dør Kence ( bass ) and Coque Chanson ( drums , vocals).

They play newly arranged classics of rock music, sometimes so that the underlying original is not always immediately recognizable. For example, the Motörhead hit “Ace of Spades” became a Caribbean party reggae, Metallica's “Nothing Else Matters” became a country song and Madonna's “Like a Virgin” was performed as blues. Part of their style is that they claim, "They come from a small island off the coast of Corsica with 380 inhabitants, want to become rock stars and their songs are made by themselves. Unfortunately, other musicians keep stealing their songs". They appear as five part-time unemployed tramps, and their hats are also characteristic.

The five trained jazz musicians are also active in other formations or as music instructors and their real names are:

  • Michael Erbach ( Dregue Sbæg ) founding member and singing of the Blassportgruppe
  • Axel Müller ( Adel Millah ) founding member of the Blassport group , member of Grosch's Eleven
  • Erik Jünge ( Ilnatterino Stallione )
  • Dirk Kunz ( Dør Kence )
  • Philipp Zdebel ( Coque Chanson ) founding member of the Blassportgruppe .

Her instruments include a self-made drum set, a melodica and a stylophone from the 1960s.

In 2012 they appeared for the first time at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival . In 2013 they received the “Three Weeks Editor's Award 2013” there. In July 2016, they performed at the 34th Tent Music Festival in Freiburg im Breisgau .

By July 2016 they had played around 500 concerts in France, Germany, Poland, England, Austria and Switzerland.
