The TER Aquitaine is a transportation company that since 2002 for the French region of Aquitaine , the logistics of public transport (LPT) provides. The five departments Dordogne , Gironde , Landes , Lot-et-Garonne and Pyrénées-Atlantiques are served.

Rolling material

According to its own information, more than 300 trains with more than 35,000 passengers run every day. 158 stations and stops are approached on 14 different routes. A total of 1,490 km of railway lines are under management, 978 km of which are electrified. Since 2002, 100 new trains have been put into service and 120 wagons renovated for 234 million euros. Since 2006, 60 train stations and 97 stops have been modernized in the region (as of summer 2011). The total volume of expenditure from 2002 to 2011 was 1.14 billion euros.
