Lesparre-Medoc is a French town with 5801 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The city is the seat of the sub-prefecture ( French Sous-préfecture ) of the Arrondissement of Lesparre-Médoc and the capital of the canton of Le Nord-Médoc .
