Cussac-Fort-Médoc is a French commune in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine with 2,240 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lesparre-Médoc and the canton of Le Sud-Médoc (until 2015: canton of Castelnau-de-Médoc ).

Cussac-Fort-Médoc is located about 32 kilometers northwest of Bordeaux on the Gironde estuary . Cussac-Fort-Médoc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in the north, Blaye in the east, Lamarque in the south, Listrac-Médoc in the west and south-west and Saint-Laurent-Médoc in the west and north-west.
