Cussac-Fort-Médoc is located about 32 kilometers northwest of Bordeaux on the Gironde estuary . Cussac-Fort-Médoc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in the north, Blaye in the east, Lamarque in the south, Listrac-Médoc in the west and south-west and Saint-Laurent-Médoc in the west and north-west.
