Valeyrac is a French commune in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine with 548 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lesparre-Médoc and the canton of Le Nord-Médoc (until 2015: canton of Pauillac ). The inhabitants are called Salvadoria .
geography
Valeyrac is located about 67 kilometers north-northwest of Bordeaux in the Médoc on the Gironde estuary . Valeyrac is surrounded by the neighboring communities Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac in the west and north-west and Bégadan in the south.
