Ordonnac ( Occitan Ordonac ) is a French commune in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ) with 510 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lesparre-Médoc and the canton of Le Nord-Médoc (until 2015: Canton of Lesparre-Médoc ). The inhabitants are called Ordonnacais .
geography
Ordonnac is located about 56 kilometers north-northwest of Bordeaux in the Médoc . Ordonnac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Blaignan-Prignac in the north and north-west, Saint-Yzans-de-Médoc in the east and north-east, Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne in the south-east, Saint-Germain-d'Esteuil in the south and south-west and Lesparre- Médoc to the west and south-west.
