Renée Levi

Renée Levi (born May 6, 1960 in Istanbul , Turkey ) is a Swiss artist. Her fields of work include painting and installation .

Life

Renée Levi came to Switzerland in 1964. From 1980 she completed an architecture degree in Muttenz . From 1987 she studied fine arts at the Zurich University of the Arts . From 1999-2000 she was visiting professor at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. Renée Levi shares her studio with Marcel Schmid and has been professor of fine arts and painting at the Basel School of Design and Art since 2001 .
