Renate Baader

Renate Baader , b. Renate Wärme (born October 12, 1937 in Breslau , † March 4, 2007 in Düsseldorf ) was a German Romance studies , literary scholar and researcher in women .

life and career

Renate Wärme (later: Renate Baader) received her doctorate in 1965 at the University of Cologne with a Romance-Medieval thesis. She was assistant to Horst Baader at the Universities of Saarbrücken and FU Berlin and an academic adviser and senior councilor at the Universities of Cologne and Bonn. In 1984 she completed her habilitation in Saarbrücken with Hans-Jörg Neuschäfer with a thesis on Madeleine de Scudéry and other French authors of the 17th century and taught in Bonn as a private lecturer.
