Renate Blank
Renate Anna Blank , b. Reichenberger (born August 8, 1941 in Nuremberg ) is a German politician ( CSU ).
Life and work
After attending high school she worked as a bank clerk and after her marriage she worked as a housewife . She has been an independent retailer in the textile industry since 1976. She has been married since 1966 and has two children.
politics
She joined the CSU in 1974 and is a member of the board of the CSU district association and the board of the CSU district association in Nuremberg. From 1984 to 1990 Renate Blank was a member of the Nuremberg City Council. From 1990 to 2009 she was a member of the German Bundestag . In January 2007, she called for a headscarf ban when driving a car .
Renate Blank is 1998 on the national list Bavaria otherwise always and as the directly elected members of the Bundestag constituency Nuremberg-South in the Bundestag drawn in. In the 2005 Bundestag election she received 44.0% of the first votes .
On September 19, 2008, Renate Blank announced that he would no longer run for the Bundestag in 2009.
