Renate Egger

Renate Egger (born January 11, 1947 in Spittal an der Drau , Carinthia ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Life

After attending the lower level of grammar school in Spittal an der Drau, Renate Egger moved to the higher federal college in Bad Ischl , where she also graduated . After that she was four semester student at a language school in the French Lyon .

Renate Egger initially worked for a year as a secretary in a tax consulting firm, before she worked in an office in the municipality of Spittal from 1967 to 1972. From 1978 until her retirement she was a secretary in the Spittal district office of the Carinthian Red Cross .

Her first political engagement was only brief when she was sworn in for one day as a member of the Federal Council from April 19-20, 1994 . Egger has been a member of the Spittal an der Drau municipal council and councilor for social services since 1997 .
