Renate Rennhack (born March 21, 1936 ; † November 20, 1999 in Berlin ) was a German actress , voice actress and speaker in documentary films .

biography

Renate Rennhack had her first appearance on television in 1959 as Marianne Pabst called Mücke in the series Die Vormanns und seine Freunde . A few more roles on GDR television followed in the 1960s and early 1970s. Her most famous appearances included u. a. the role as Martha Heyer in the first part of the successful television series Routes across the country in 1968. With the appearance as Helga Zander in the television drama Bitter Pills , in which she took on a leading role, her career as a television actress ended in 1974.

From then on Renate Rennhack mainly devoted herself to dubbing. In the German dubbing index, 174 speaking roles in films and series are recorded. She also worked as a spokesperson for several documentaries.

In 1988, she also took part in the series The literary hour on Radio DDR II and read excerpts from Anna Segher's The Decision and The Trust .

Renate Rennhack died on November 20, 1999 in Berlin at the age of 63.
