Renato II Borromeo
Count Renato II. Borromeo (born August 27, 1613 in Milan ; † May 1, 1685 ibid) was a member of the Lombard - Piedmontese noble family Borromeo .
Life
Renato was the eldest son of Carlo III. Borromeo and Isabella D'Adda born in Milan. He studied philosophy and law in his hometown and in Pavia .
On October 21, 1652 he married the Countess Giulia Arese (* June 24, 1635 - March 19, 1704), the couple had two sons, Carlo and Giberto. On November 11, 1652, the couple entered the Isola Bella in Lake Maggiore .
After the death of his father, Renato took over his position in the city administration of Milan, among other things as Decurione . He died at the age of 72 in his native Milan, he is buried in the collegiate church of Arona on Lake Maggiore, the ancestral home of the Borromeans.
