Renatus Claudius Schenkel (* 1950 in Offenburg , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German professor and communication scientist .
Life
After attending elementary school and a humanistic grammar school, Renatus Schenkel graduated from high school in 1969 and began studying newspaper studies , philosophy and political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .
After working for Ruhrgas AG and Bahlsen GmbH & Co KG, Renatus Schenkel worked from 2002 for the journalism / media management course at the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences in Magdeburg , where he has been a professor in the communication and media department with a focus on journalism & PR since 2004.
